Collingwood is a town located in Simcoe County, Ontario. The town sits between Nottawasaga Bay and the southern portion of Georgian Bay. Because of its close proximity to waterways, Collingwood functioned as a major shipbuilding hub from the mid -1800s to the end of the 20th century.

Collingwood Public Library – Since 1903, the Collingwood Public Library has offered residents of all age valuable resources for learning and entertainment. Its space offers not only reading materials but computer stations and meeting rooms.

Collingwood Historical Society – The Collingwood Historical Society is a volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the unique history of the Collingwood. They collect historically relevant documents and photos as well as mark historically significant locations throughout the town.
